From Gerhard’s Swiss brewery to local editions around the world. Real beer, a father and son, and a story worth sharing.

Real beer

The beer that started it

Toasty malt.
A little citrus.
A clean finish.

Before the stages and the headlines, there was a brew kettle in Switzerland. Gerhard’s original Amber Lager pairs bready, toasted malt with caramel notes and a gentle citrus lift.

That is the original Swiss brew. The California and Berlin editions have their own local beers and brewing partners. One story does not have to mean one recipe.

The origin story

It started with a question.
What if we brewed together?

A father's brewing experience. A son's curiosity about AI. Together they connected Gerhard's brewery to OpenClaw and built brewOS. Gerhard stays in charge of the beer.

Gerhard Erschwendner

The father · Brewing experience

Gerhard

Passionate brewmaster and certified beer sommelier at eibachbraui in Switzerland. He brings the recipe, the practical judgement and responsibility for the beer. Today, he also builds with AI.

Stefan Erschwendner

The son · Agentic engineering

Stefan

Founder of Frontira. He connects domain knowledge, technology and real business workflows. Lobster Lager began as a way to make AI tangible, then became a story they could share together.

The original Swiss project explores human supervised brewing. Event editions carry that story, but are brewed and packaged by local brewing partners. Different beers, one idea: bring people and agents together.

Good beer.
Better conversations.

Some stories are better told over a beer. Bring Gerhard and Stefan to your event for the Lobster Lager keynote, with a local beer edition and tasting as an optional part of the experience.

A look inside the session

01

Hear the story

Meet the father and son behind the beer. Gerhard brings the brewing experience, Stefan the technology, and both bring the story to life on stage.

02

Share a beer

Continue the conversation with a local Lobster Lager edition and, when arranged, a tasting with Gerhard. Something tangible to remember the story by.

03

Make it yours

Give your gathering its own edition, with partner artwork and content we create together. A shared experience that feels like your event.

What is OpenClaw doing?

OpenClaw was invented by Peter Steinberger, a renowned developer and friend of Stefan Erschwendner.

Their shared curiosity is about making software agents useful beyond the screen, in practical workflows with clear human responsibility.

At Gerhard's Swiss brewery, OpenClaw helps build and operate brewOS. Gerhard brings the recipe, supervises the brew and approves the critical physical decisions.

The Frontira perspective

From knowledge
to real execution.

Lobster Lager is a tangible case study in Agentic Business Engineering: domain expertise, software agents and a clear human decision boundary, brought together in a real workflow.

At Frontira, Stefan and the team apply this thinking to client work. The question is not just what AI can generate, but what people can reliably get done with it.

Event editions

The story travels. The beer stays local.

The next chapter takes Lobster Lager from the Swiss brewery to event editions in California and Berlin. Artwork pairs the familiar lobster with local communities, while Red Bus Brewing Company and Lahnsteiner Brauerei produce the beer in their regions. The original agentic brewing project remains Gerhard's: the partner editions share its story, not necessarily its recipe.
